NIYAZOV OFFERS CONDOLENCES TO LEADERSHIP AND PEOPLE OF PALESTINE OVER DEMISE OF YASSER ARAFAT

President of Turkmenistan Saparmurat Niyazov sent a message of condolences to the government of the State of Palestine, Executive committee of the PLO, Palestine’s national administration (PNA) over the demise of the chairman of the PNA, Yasser Arafat.

“On behalf of the people and government of Turkmenistan and on my behalf, I convey sincere condolences over the demise of the great leader of the people of Palestine,” the message says.

Saparmurat Niyazov also conveyed words of sympathy and support to the family of the deceased and wished the people of Palestine strength to live through this grave and irreplaceable loss, the Ashgabat correspondent reports referring to the press service of the head of state.
