Turkmen athlete won silver prize in world championship on Greek-Roman wrestling

The representative of Turkmenistan, Nepes Gukulov won silver prize in the world championship on Greek-Roman wrestling which is currently conducted in Moscow.

As Moscow correspondent of Turkmenistan.ru reports, after displaying very good skills in the preliminary competition in the category of 55 kg and less the athlete then met with the Russian wrestler Heydar Mamedaliev. Unfortunately, Nepes Gukulov could not win victory over the Russian sportsman who was actively supported by Moscow fans, however silver medal of world championship is also a good achievement for the Turkmen athlete.

Jimmy Samuelson from Sweden became world champion in the category of 66 kg and less, and Ara Abrahamyan who was also representing Sweden won gold medal in the category 84 kg and less.
