Turkmenistan opens embassy in Japan

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed a decree authorizing the opening of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Japan (Tokyo city) “with the view of further developing bilateral relations between Turkmenistan and Japan,” the Turkmenistan.ru correspondent reports from Ashgabat quoting the press service of the head of state.

The President also signed a decree “On issues of the Turkmen Embassy in Japan (Tokyo city)."

The document instructs the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Justice of Turkmenistan to prepare within one month proposals on amendments to the legislation of Turkmenistan arising from this decision and submit them to the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan.
