Four modern villages to be built in regions of Turkmenistan by 2016

New modern villages will be built in the regions of Turkmenistan as part of the Programme on Socio-Economic Development of Turkmenistan for 2012-2016. In accordance with the decrees signed by the head of state, regional authorities were instructed to develop master plans on construction of villages and to ensure control over construction work.

In particular, by June 2016, new modern villages will be built in gengeshlik “Arkach” of Serdar district of Balkan province; in gengeshlik named after D. Khudaybergenov of S.A. Niyazov district of Dashoguz province; in gengeshlik named after Zelili of Karabekaul district of Lebap province; and in gengeshlik “Garashsyzlyk” of Altyn Sahra district of Mary province.
