Emergency centers to be built in Ashgabat and regions of Turkmenistan

The Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan will sign a contract with Turkish company “Gap Insaat, Yatirim ve Dis Ticaret AS” for design and construction of five emergency centers. The contract will also provide for installation of modern medical equipment in the centers, training of medical staff and landscaping the adjacent territories.
According to the contract, an Emergency Center for 200 patients and a garage for 230 ambulances and other medical vehicles will be built in Ashgabat. Similar facilities for 30 patients each will be built in the administrative centers of Balkan, Dashoguz, Lebap and Mary provinces.
Construction work is scheduled to begin later this month. The facilities should be commissioned in April 2014.
