Palestinian Ambassador accredited in Turkmenistan

Speaker of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan Akja Nurberdieva received credentials from Abd al-Assad Munem Said al-Assad, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Palestine to Turkmenistan with residence in Tashkent.

On the same day, Ambassador of Palestine held talks at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The sides noted that neutral Turkmenistan attaches special importance to establishing a transparent international dialogue aimed at strengthening global peace, security and stability, promoting sustainable development goals and progress.

According to the press service of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry, these principles underlie the foreign policy pursued by President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and his constructive international initiatives. The sides noted the urgency and timeliness of these initiatives in the context of the present day.

The sides also exchanged views on major aspects of bilateral cooperation and expressed mutual confidence in the further development of the dialogue between Turkmenistan and the State of Palestine, the Foreign Ministry said.
