President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed a decree setting the procedure for development and approval of state educational standards that is designed to play an important role in furthering the comprehensive reform of the national education system and improving the teaching methods.
“The state will continue paying close attention to development of education with the view of raising a well-educated younger generation with broad outlook. We will keep taking care of creating all conditions so that youth could get access to modern education in line with international standards and get actively engaged in scientific activities,” Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said.
He instructed relevant officials to keep under strict control issues relating to the practical implementation of this decree.
