Today, Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhammedov received credentials from the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland, Maciej Lang. As the State News Service (TDH) reports, the diplomat conveyed his country leadership's greetings to the head of state, emphasizing Poland's increased interest in establishing comprehensive cooperation with Turkmenistan which would be surely promoted by opening of the Polish Embassy in Ashgabat.

During the meeting, the President of Turkmenistan and his gust informed each other on the priorities of state policies of their countries, discussed a wide range of issues related to prospects of development of bilateral cooperation. Maciej Lang stressed his country's interest in expanding partnership both in economic and humanitarian spheres. He noted that Poland's big businessmen are also interested in Turkmenistan.
