A presentation ceremony of Turkmen leader Saparmurat Niyazov's book "Ruhnama" printed in Italian language has been held in the capital of Turkmenistan. The book's translation was initiated by Culligan - Italiana company.

Speaking at the ceremony, the company's representative, Branko Janich, emphasized that Italian print of "Ruhnama" was a significant event in the history of relations between Turkmenistan and Italy and a step forward in developing friendly ties between the two states.

According to Branko Janich the best Italian specialists made the translation. He also reported that Ruhnama is currently being translated into Croatian language. It is expected that the translation will be finished by February 19, 2002. On February 19, Turkmenistan marks a double holiday - State Flag Day and Birthday of the Turkmen president, Saparmurat Niyazov.
