As Interfax reports referring to its sources in Gazprom, the headquarters of this company is currently studying "the details of a deal between Hungary's Eural Trans Gas, Poland's POGC and Ukraine's Naftohaz Ukrayiny to supply gas to Poland".
According to this trilateral deal on the supply of 2 billion cubic meters of gas to Poland Eural Trans Gas had to start supplying Turkmen gas to the
Polish customers from November 1, 2003, which it receives as payment for operator services to Ukraine.
"We have been informed of this deal. Our Ukrainian colleagues assure us that it complies with existing agreements," a source in Gazprom told journalists.
According to Gasprom's information Eural TG receives about 13.8 bcm of gas per year as payment for operator services.
