President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received various awards of foreign countries at an official ceremony on October 25, the Turkmenistan.ru correspondent reports from Ashgabat.
Indian Ambassador to Turkmenistan Mohammad Afzal handed "Mark of Honour" on behalf of the Strategic Management Group of India and "Mark of Honour" on behalf of the Center for Management Studies of Jamia Millia Islamia University to the President of Turkmenistan. He praised Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for his significant contribution to the development of Turkmen-Indian relations and for opening a new chapter in these relations.
The Director of the Institute for Public Management and Community Service of Florida International University (USA), PhD, Professor Alan Rosenbaum presented the President of Turkmenistan with an Honorary Diploma for outstanding achievement in the area of administrative reform. According to him, the international community appreciates the reformist policies of the Turkmen leader.
Another award presented to the President of Turkmenistan was an Honorary Diploma of Lincoln University (USA) for his achievements in development of Turkmenistan's education system and invaluable scientific papers. Chairman of the Board of the University, Professor Alan Samson expressed support for the Turkmen leader to the economic strategy developed by Turkmenistan.
At the end of the ceremony, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized that he regards the high evaluation of his work "as evidence of the continuing development of international cooperation of Turkmenistan." "These marks of honor and certificates are evidence of great honor and respect not only for me but for the Turkmen people, who make their way to the bright future by leaps and bounds and with confidence," he said.
