188 pilgrims from Turkmenistan to perform Hajj to Mecca and Medina
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed a decree at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan on October 14. Under the decree, 188 Turkmen pilgrims will be able to perform Hajj to Mecca and Medina during the period from 2 to 22 November 2010.

As the Turkmenistan.ru correspondent reports from Ashgabat quoting the press service of the head of state, the National Air Service "Turkmenhowayollary" was instructed to organize at its own expense a special flight to transport pilgrims to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and back to Turkmenistan.

The Turkmen leader also issued instructions to solve all issues related to the Hajj, using all necessary services, including diplomatic channels, as well as ministries, departments of the country to provide comprehensive care and support in organizing the pilgrimage "in the best traditions of the Turkmen people."
