Anastasia Prenko, a 17-year-old tennis star, who has been holding the title of champion of Turkmenistan among women since she was 13 years of age, has excelled for the fourth consecutive year at the international tennis tournament ITF of the fifth category, which is traditionally held in Ashgabat on the eve of Independence Day.
According to the official report, the tournament was organized by the State Committee of Turkmenistan for Tourism and Sport and the National Tennis Center. Tennis players under 18 from Australia, Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan participated in the tournament.
The first racket of Turkmenistan, Anastasia Prenko is the first in the history of Turkmen sport to be included in the world women's ranking WTA. She is currently in the list of the world's top 200 juniors and top three in Central Asia. The young champion will participate at the XVI Summer Asian Games in Guangzhou (China) in November this year, according to a press release.
