The works by Suleiman Atamamedov, a student of the State Academy of Fine Arts of Turkmenistan, will be displayed along with works by other young artists from 11 countries of the CIS, France and Belgium at an exhibition in Moscow starting today. The exhibition at the museum "House Burganova" will also feature creative works by students of universities who participated in the International Symposium on Sculptures of the CIS countries.
Within the framework of symposium, which was organized by the Russian Academy of Fine Arts with the support of the Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation of CIS member states, the young talents practiced for a month at the art workshop of the national artist of Russia, Alexander Burganov.
Students took part in master classes in visual arts, listened to the lectures by famous artists and sculptors of Russia, visited museums, exhibition halls, galleries and art schools. Sculptor, President of the Russian Academy of Arts, Zurab Tsereteli conducted a separate practical exercise for students.
