More than two hundred Turkmen students go to study in Russia
On September 13, a ceremony of bidding farewell to a large group of Turkmen students leaving for Russia was held at the Turkmen Agricultural University named after S.A. Niyazov.

As "Neutral Turkmenistan" newspaper reported today, more than two hundred applicants were admitted this year to the leading Russian higher education establishments and secondary vocational schools. In total, they will be taught 150 specialties such as agriculture, veterinary science, management, geology of oil and gas, drilling oil and gas wells, applied mathematics and computer science, law, medicine and others.

Turkmen students will study at Astrakhan State University, Kazan State Technological University, Moscow Power Institute, Moscow State University of Catering, St. Petersburg University of Engineering and Economics, as well as a number of educational institutions in Saratov, Tambov, Tver, Tomsk, Tula, Ufa, Voronezh , Kostroma and Novosibirsk.
