Ambassador of India completes his tenure in Turkmenistan
"The Indian side attaches great importance to the development of full cooperation with Turkmenistan," Indian Ambassador to Turkmenistan Mohammad Afzal, who has completed his tenure in the country, said on September 13 at a meeting with President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. "I will always keep fond memories of your country. I will remain a big and devoted friend of Turkmenistan," the Indian diplomat said.

As the Turkmenistan.ru correspondent reports quoting the press service head of state, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highly appreciated the activities of the diplomat in strengthening the bilateral Turkmen-Indian dialogue based on the principles of mutual understanding, respect and trust.

During the meeting, the President of Turkmenistan and the Indian Ambassador also exchanged views on priority issues of interstate cooperation, including the construction of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) gas pipeline.
