Ambassador of Tajikistan Ashour Abdulrahim accredited in Turkmenistan |
On November 9, Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to Turkmenistan, Ashour Abdurahim, who presented his credentials to the head of state.
According to the press service of the Turkmen leader, during the meeting the sides expressed mutual interest in intensifying the intergovernmental dialogue, which has great prospects.
The President of Turkmenistan and his guest discussed the progress in implementing the agreements reached at the talks in Turkmenbashi as part of the working visit of the President of Tajikistan to Turkmenistan in October this year, as well as the agenda of the next meeting of the intergovernmental Turkmen-Tajik commission for trade-economic and scientific-technical cooperation in Dushanbe.
"Tajikistan highly interested in strengthening and expanding fruitful cooperation with Turkmenistan that Tajikistan views not only as a reliable partner but, above all, a great friend," the ambassador said during the meeting.
