Attracting investments in large-scale national projects of Turkmenistan and joint partnership in the energy sector were on top of the talks between President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Deputy Chairman of the Council of Saudi Arabian Chambers of Commerce and Industry Abdul Rahman al-Jeraisy, who arrived in Ashgabat at the head of a business delegation of his country.

The two parties focused on prospects for further partnership in the fuel and energy sector - the basic one for the economies of the two countries, the Turkmenistan.ru correspondent reports referring to the press service of the head of state. "As the energy powers, Turkmenistan and Saudi Arabia are ready to develop efficient cooperation in this sphere, and there are all the conditions and opportunities for this, the press service said.

On the same day, a governmental delegation of Turkmenistan held talks with major entrepreneurs and businessmen of Saudi Arabia. The talks resulted in signing the Agreement on Cooperation between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and the Council of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. As part of the visit, the delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia held meetings in the Government and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, as well as several line ministries.
