Russian company to bury radioactive waste in Turkmenistan
The President of Turkmenistan signed a resolution authorizing Turkmenkhimiya state concern to sign a US $ 12,4 million (VAT included) contract with Ekomet-S (Russian Federation) joint stock company on transferring to a safe place and burial of radioactive waste from Hazar chemical plant and Balkanabat iodine plant.

The resolution was signed with a view to fulfilling the tasks on protection of environment and ensuring ecological safety, the Turkmenistan.ru correspondent reports from Ashgabat quoting the press service of the head of state.
