The second international exhibition and conference "Golden publications of the Golden Age" dedicated to the 16th anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence wrapped up in Ashgabat today. It was held at the capital's Sergi Koshgi exhibition center.
As the Ashgabat correspondent of Turkmenistan.ru reports, representatives of famous publishing houses and specialists of the polygraph industry from 22 countries participated in the exhibition, including Zeppelin GMBH and Heidelberg of Germany and Reisser Trade OU of Estonia. The stalls of Belarus, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkey and the Republic of Korea featured classic literature works, stationery and various souvenirs. The Ukrainian stall presented the works of Ukraine's academy of publishing.
Representatives of the Moscow State University of Publishing are paying their first ever visit to Turkmenistan to participate in the exhibition. They have brought colorful illustrations and autolithographies by painter E.Silina dedicated to the works by Andersen, Swift, Proysler and a series of lithographies "Pushkinogorye" by graduates of the Russian Academy of Arts.
Turkmen polygraph business entrepreneurs also participated in the exhibition together with their foreign colleagues. The host country was represented by the Publishing Center of Turkmenistan, wholesale and retail association Turkmenkitap, the state enterprise Chaphanahyzmatlary" and Turkmen Xerox, Altyn Dag, Gundogar Yyldyzy, Hatdag and Serhat companies.
