President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received head of the Turkish Polimeks Company Erol Tabanja, yesterday. As the Ashgabat correspondent of Turkmenistan.ru reports, Tabanja presented new architectural projects of the company to the head of state.
An aerated concrete manufacturing plant to be built in the industrial zone to the north of Ashgabat is among the major projects. According to the businessman, the project will cover its costs 2.5 years after its commissioning. The plant will operate on 95% of local raw materials and its future output will have such necessary qualities as lagging, fire-prevention and seismic security.
Polimeks offered a design of the expanded Palace Complex in the center of Ashgabat. The designers proposed to erect a Presidential Palace, buildings for relevant services, premises for festive events, and build a 50-m high standard of the president of Turkmenistan. As is known, a day before the Bouygues company representatives had also presented a design of the Presidential palace a day before. None of the projects was approved by the head of state.
Further, the head of state studied the project of building up the Archabil resort under Ashgabat, where 16 guesthouses are to be built. The president approved the project in general, and ordered to design a fashionable complex for receiving high guests.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also considered the TV Tower design. The project was put off for revisiting.
The sides also studied the design of an oil-expeller plant to be built by Polimeks, a winner of the international tender, in Akhal province. The plant’s capacity is 15,000 tons of vegetable oil and 5,000 tons of margarine a year. The plant is designed to meet the demand of the population of the capital and Akhal province in this production.
In conclusion, the head of the Turkish company proposed a project of a new symbol of independence and sovereignty of Turkmenistan – a 100 meter high spire with the state flag flying on the top.
