Bouygues to build a fountain and office for Ministry of Communications
Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received Senior Vice-President Aldo Carbonaro and Regional Director Charles Santer of the French Bouygues company.

As the Turkmenistan.ru correspondent informs, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov offered a number of big projects to the French builders. Among them is a sea port and airport in Turkmenbashi city, cement plants in Balkan and Lebap provinces, a building Oil and Gas Institute, an architectural complex of the Turkmen Polytechnic Institute. President suggested that Bouygues develops a design of ultramodern hotel where high guests could be received and high level forums could be held, and the design of a man-made river to connect Turkmenbashi city with Avaza National Tourist Zone.

Aldo Carbonaro and Charles Santer, in their turn, presented the designs of the Ministries of Communications, Foreign Affairs and Education, a Presidential Palace, a Turkmen Government building and a complex of skyscrapers for Avaza.

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov approved the design of a new building of the Ministry of Communications occupying the area of 15 thousand sq m with a total value of US$ 45 million to be commissioned in October 2009. The design of a fountain with a total value US$ 6.6 million to be built across the Ruhiet Palace in Ashgabat by this October was also among the approved projects.
