Ashgabat and Minsk open regular air services
The direct air services between the capitals of Turkmenistan and Belarus were opened yesterday by Ashgabat-Minsk flight on the Boeing-737-800 air carries of the Turkmen airlines. The new flight has become twelfth passenger route from the International airport in Ashgabat.

As the Turkmenistan.ru correspondent reports, from now on a comfortable carrier accommodating 160 passengers will fly between the two capitals once a week – on Saturdays. The flight time will be 5 hours.

According to the State national service “Turkmenhovayollary” the main passengers are state employees, businessmen and students. Turkmen Airlines’ potential clients will be attracted by the suitable geographic location of Minsk; the Baltic and East European states, Ukraine and dozens of Russian oblasts are nearby. It should be noted that tourist firms have alreade displayed their interest in the new route.
