Delta and Mitro companies meet with Turkmen President
Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has received heads of Delta Company (Austria) and Mitro International Limited (British Virgin Islands), the Ashgabat correppondent of Turkmenistan.ru reports.

CEO and President of Delta Group Vladlen Badian and President of Delta Company Leonid Shneiderman and CEO of Mitro Boris Levenstein briefed the Turkmen President on their companies' profiles and the work done so far. The foreign businessmen expressed their interest in participating in the promising projects on hydrocarbons development on the Caspian shelf of Turkmenistan. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that "Turkmenistan is open to productive equal cooperation especially with those companies that have proved themselves as honest and reliable partners".

Wishing to expand their activities in the Turkmen market, the guests expressed interest in implementing the project on creating a free economic zone in Turkmenbashi city. Having approved the initiative, the Turkmen President invited the businessmen to take part in the presentation. The President also expressed confidence Turkmenistan will make use of Delta's and Mitro's capacity, experience and constructive proposals .

The heads of foreign companies also expressed their intention to establish active cooperation in healthcare and education and to provide assistance in training young qualified specialists taking into account the wishes of the Turkmen side. Referring to the results of the Joint Turkmen-Russian Economic Cooperation Commission held in Ashgabat, the guests expressed their readiness to facilitate development of friendly and partnership relations between seaside Astrakhan and Turkmenbashi cities.
